The Em Sherif Art Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting Lebanese artists and talents. Its mission is to provide a platform for Lebanese talent, showcase their work in Em Sherif restaurants worldwide. Through these collaborations, the foundation aims to increase visibility for artists while fostering a greater awareness for Lebanese art and culture.

Born 1978 in Saida, Lebanon, currently lives and works in Beirut. His practice engages with theoretical discourses concerning the material complexity of the photographic medium beyond its traditional documentary nature. Often ironic and straightforward, his work critically examines the unpredictability and ephemerality of the image creation process, stemming from a familiar relationship with places, cultures, historical legacies, and collective memory.
